Miele Cat & Dog TT 5000-S5261 Cylinder

Have just recently purchased from Tribal a Miele Cat and Dog TT5000 cylinder cleaner and am absolutely thrilled with it. Have mostly had an upright cleaner believing them to be more powerful but have been proved wrong with this Miele cleaner! We have a Jack Russel dog that is always shedding his hairs and this cleaner picks them up beautifully and so quietly! Such a well designed machine too and so pleased we decided to buy it.
Vacuuming will be more of a pleasure now!

When new was great, really powerfull, but all the dog hairs get cought in the roller which causes it to stop working and you have to dismantel it and remove all dog hair. Which is a pain! I have to remove all the hair at lease twice a week. I have only had the vacuum cleaner for 5 months.
Don't think it is as good as I thought it would be, for the price, thought it would have a better system to stop the hairs from blocking the roller. The bags are quite expensive too. Would not really recommend.

Having had both a Dyson and Panasonic (both pet versions) I decided to have a re-think after reading reviews in a magazine. Went to a couple of stores for a look and try. Came home and ordered through Tribal. The product is nothing less than superb. At first worried that it was a cylinder, and that it would need bags, no probs. It is by far the best I've ever used. Light, quiet and easy to manouvre, under beds, on the stairs, up to the edge. Not going back to Dyson now!

I have used a Dyson for years. Thought it was very good and full of power untill a week ago when we received our Miele CAT&DOG. This vacuum is a godsend. We have a dog and his hair is a nightmare when malting.

This vacuum is, I would say, twice..if not more.. powerful than the Dyson. The turbo brushes are fantastic, its a lot less noisy than the Dyson and alot lighter to carry up stairs and to pull behind you.

Excellent product, wish I had purchased one before now, has improved all carpets. Very versatile, very efficient company & staff.

We have a Newfoundland Dog which has double coated hair (as my carpet and Henry vacuum found out). The Miele Cat and Dog has so much power, it picked up so much hair my carpet looked brand new!! It made me realise how much my old vacuum was not picking up. The only down side is the bags are not very big and need replacing quite frequently.

I bought this last week from Tribal, excellent service and a quality product. Having a Miele washing machine I knew what to expect, everything is well designed and just works.

Previously had a Bosch upright bagless 1700w which was okay to start with but the brushes soon stopped working just outside warranty so picking up the cat hair was very time consuming with the hand attachment.

The Miele, in comparison, feels like it will go on for years and although it is bagged I would sooner compromise this for better suction and reliability long-term.

The turbo brush is fantastic and removes all hair that the other vacuum did not pick up (Bosch and Henry). It makes vacuuming really easy and takes all the work out.

I have never had a cylinder type cleaner before so was reluctant to make switch, but in fact it is a lot better. The head can get into many more places, you are only pushing the head and not the handle/ cleaner and it much easier to carry and lift than a bulky upright so makes other cleaning tasks much simpler.

The only gripe I would have is why Miele did not put a knuckle joint on the small turbo brush so that you can angle it from stood up as with the floor turbobrush? This is only a small complaint, without doubt the best vacuum I have used.

The vacuum is fantastic it's suction is unbeliveable, I have 2 moulting dogs and am forever on my hands & knees gathering dog hair that my old vacuum left behind, well no more, even without the turbo brush I could see the difference. It must be good, my 12 year old son vacuumed the hall, stairs and his room this morning!

I too have had two Dyson and have been finding them very heavy. The Miele is light and easy to carry, the suction is brilliant and the Turbo tools are easy to push on high suction. The metal extention pipe is easy to alter and so you can get it just right for your height, it then packs away nicely, dropping the extention and clipping it on to the side is easy. The drawback is the bags.
The delivery was very good as you can track it from a number given to you by email. Very happy.

I could not believe how quiet this vacuum is after having a Hoover and two Dysons. It's quiet. The suction is brilliant and the charcoal filter takes all those doggy smells away that you get when you vacuum. I am over the moon with this Miele and have already recommended it to all my friends, its brilliant.

What an excellent piece of equipment! I never thought I would get so excited over an electrical appliance! The suction on it is quite amazing and it easily lifts any dirt or pet hair you may have lurking in your house. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with pets.

Excellent cleaner, don't need it on full power to clean the carpets or hard floors, dog hairs have disappeared.

The product arrived within a couple of days and I am just so impressed with it. I have been thinking about buying it for weeks after the excellent results it was given in a recent Which review and just wish I had ordered it sooner. The turbo brushes are fantastic and it works equally well on hard floors. I would highly recommend this product.

Ordered the 'Cat & Dog' on the Saturday and it arrived on Wednesday, excellent delivery speed. Once unpacked and used it, it is clear to see why this was voted the best vacuum by Which?

I have always had an upright and the last two were Dysons. All I can say is why did I not buy this sooner. It is a joy to use and does not give me back ache!

First time with this website and pleased to have great price and item delivered within 3 working days. Am reviewing on first day of use (couldn't wait) and find the vac has made an impressive start generally. Quiet, easy and comfortable to use, with great results-we have a moulting dog and various sporty family members with muddy feet so there's a lot of dried mud-dust around, despite best efforts. This is my first cylinder vac (on strength of others' recommendation and great reviews on this/other websites) so am very glad to have chosen it! It came out top on Which? and I can see why. Have tried out all carpet tools/floorheads already-mini turbo especially impressive on stairs. Only slight difficulty so far is in replacing the on-board tools exactly as required for lid to shut (but that'll come with practise), and that when in upright storage position the hose is not very flexible and takes up more space than my old Dyson upright. But that's more than ok if the vac continues to impress with its' cleaning results. I would heartily recommend this machine. Can't wait to try it on the car...

Vacuum is to be highly recommended - I should have bought this years ago instead of trying cheaper (and less efficient) cleaners!!!

I bought this vacuum because i had heard good reviews and it was 'Which?' best buy. It lives up to its reputation!! It nearly sucks up the carpet on its strongest setting and makes you feel like you are doing a good job. It also has settings for curtains and furniture. It has a special nozzle for pet hairs and this works brilliantly -I have 2 cats that always seem to be malting and i have long hair and have 2 girls also with long hair and it vacuums these up brilliantly too. I'm very happy with it. The only thing is the bag filled up pretty quick and they aren't the cheapest.

My old Electrolux had conked out and there is so much on the market to choose from. When you ask the assistants in the shops they all just recommend Dyson (the most expensive and I assume the most commission for them!). So I joined Which? for a 3 month trial so I could go online for their latest vacuum cleaner tests and see which was best. Overall I thought the Miele Cat & Dog TT5000 looked the best for me out of their recommended products (and no I don't have animals). I placed the order online late Wednesday evening and received it first thing Monday morning - very impressed with the swift delivery. Thanks Tribal. Then I checked out the hoover - oh my word, why wasn't I told about this before! It nearly sucks your carpet right up and picks up everything in sight. I reckon I need to be careful as I have an 8 month old and reckon this little monster could hoover her right up! I recommend it highly and I'm glad that my first experience ordering from Tribal was such an easy one with a great service.

Received my new Cat & Dog vacuum yesterday. Couldn't wait to use it. I wish I had bought it months ago after having two Dysons, Henry & a Hoover everyone of them were useless on my berber carpets and very noisy. It was a pleasure to vacuum my house - very quiet and wonderful suction. Excellent value for money saved over £30 with Tribal UK compared to the retail stores. My mum in law recommended me to have one she said it was the best vacuum she'd ever had so I had to buy one. Not only is this machine excellent at picking up hair and other debris, I'm convinced it could actually suck up a cat or dog! It's really powerful and yet easy to manoeuvre round the house; in fact it follows you round like a faithful pet gobbling up everything in sight! The turbine brush head is superb on carpet, whilst the standard head is a dream on laminate and ceramic flooring. On maximum power it roars like a rottweiler. My old Dyson has been relegated to vacuum heaven whilst I am in the process of making sure my new Miele cat & dog is comfortably housed in the cupboard under the stairs!

Have thought for a long time about ordering. Was wary about buying from the Internet. Now all I'm thinking is " why did I wait so long!!". The price was very much lower ( as much as £40) than at most High st. stores, the speed of delivery from Tribal excellent and the vacuum cleaner....brilliant!! Best one I've ever used, I won't need to moan about my lovely little dog any more!! I am really impressed all round!!

My old vacuum cleaner (a bog standard Electrolux) packed up recently and since my missus leaves her long strands of hair all over the carpet, I wanted a machine powerful enough to remove her bodily matter. I thought Dysons were the best, so I had my heart set on buying a Dyson DC08 Animal. However after reading some negative reviews on the web, someone recommended the Miele Cat and Dog TT5000 so I decided to buy this rather than the Dyson.

As for the machine itself, true it won’t win Miss World competitions but performance-wise its brilliant. Its not too noisy, picks up everything from hairs to fluff and above all, its made to last. I’ve never owned a Dyson but many people have mentioned that Dysons have a cheap, plastic feel to them…this machine doesn’t. Go ahead and buy one…I promise you won’t regret it!!! Oh by the way, first class service from Tribal UK, cannot praise them enough :)

I was the disillusioned owner of 2 DYSONS (1 upright and 1 cylinder) when a friend of a friend recommended MIELE. After hours of research and reading numerous positive reviews I decided to give it a go. I ordered on Saturday around 5p.m. and it was delivered by Tuesday lunchtime - all the way to the back of beyond in the Cumbrian countryside. We have 2 long haired cats and a dog that leave hairs everywhere on our light coloured carpets. However, by the time my girls got home from school I'd gone through the whole house and they thought I'd had the carpets cleaned! This is the best and most inexpensive vacuum cleaner I have ever had. Give it a try and remember you can always send it back if you are not satisfied.

I saw this particular model in a large well known store but thought I'd double check the price on the net. What can I say....£50 cheaper & in stock. Delivery was within 48 hours & the product itself is superb. Quiet & powerful, what more do you want from a vacuum cleaner? Far better then the more expensive & unreliable chavvy Dysons out there!

It is very rewarding to clean with this machine, you can see how good it is and leaves the house very clean. It is really really good value.

Received new vacuum within 48 hours of purchase. Having just rug doctored my carpets I realised how bad my old hoover must be (vax turboforce upright). This vacuum actually sucks so well it lifts my carpet up slightly and as I have a bad back I thought it might be hard to use but it is easier than upright and so quiet. Like others I have had dyson uprights before as well and they were unreliable and expensive. Great product and great fast delivery from TribalUK and £68 cheaper than my local stockist! Hopefully my house won't smell so doggy from now on!

Just replacing mine after 10 plus years. It was still peforming as new, that was until I reversed over it with my car! I think I got my moneys worth from it.

I deliberated for hours over various reviews on vacuum cleaners having been bitterly disappointed by my two Dysons (thought I was just unlucky the first time around!!) I nervously chose the Miele TT5000 Cat & Dog. Wow! not the trendiess looking of appliances but a truly astounding performance on all surfaces. I would urge any of you fanatics of the Dyson vacs to take a look at this model. The TT5000 Miele Cat/ Dog is even BETTER than my cylinder dyson, AND upright for that matter.
It comes complete with all the attachments required for hard floors, carpets, upholstery, and is competitively priced at TRIBAL, (40 quid cheaper than high street) with FREE delivery !!
Its quiet, super suction is superb and I literally can't wait for the house to get dirty again so that I can use it !! Its much more efficient than any of my previous Dyson's and far cheaper.

Super suction even on lower power settings, wide range of tools supplied as standard. Not quite as convenient as an upright for carpet but performance outweighs this.

After some internet research, I went for this vacuum cleaner. Best decision I could have made. Brilliant for pet hair on carpets and floorboards. The house is much cleaner than it ever was, when the old dyson upright was working. Now grateful that the dyson was unreliable and packed up, as this works sooo much better. V powerful cleaner, and works up the the edge of the room. Excellent!!

Ordered this hoover after reading reviews, and I have not been disappointed, wide range of tools, and very light and easy to use. I have used a Dyson in the past, but this beats the Dyson hands down, it is also the first time I have purchased a cylinder hoover and I wondered why I had always bought an upright.

This is the best vacuum I have ever used! It’s really light, easy to assemble and manoeuvre and another bonus is that is extremely quiet! It has loads of attachments and sucks up everything in its path! My carpets look and feel like new!

This is the best vacuum cleaner i've ever owned or used...i can go through the whole house in a quarter of the time it used to take with either of the two Dysons i've owned...and it's a third of the price :)

I'm amazed at the power it has...on full power i'm surprised it leaves the pattern on the carpets...lifts pet hairs with ease and carpets are left immaculate.

The tools...hose and lead all feel substantial and good quality...the turbo brushes make it as easy to use as an upright yet i can get underneath furniture with ease.

The Clean Care extended warranty i've opted for is the best value one ive ever seen...still can't believe the luck i had in choosing this cleaner from Miele.

I would definately recommend this to anyone with pets.
