Hotpoint washing m/c model WML540P

The m/c has yet to complete a full washing cycle as electrical programming problems have occured making it unusable. Am told by the Hotpoint assist team that the engineer needs to call to re-programme the m/c. What happened to the final inspection before it left its place of manufacturer? Its the sort of start you dread on a new piece of equipment.

Im quite frustrated with the wash cycles, you can't use half load on number 13 or 5 and that's what I want to use. 30 min fastwash only washes in cold water. The 60 min fastwash always takes between 90-150 mins. The 1400 spin is very good but I think the machine is loud and that's before the spin starts and sounds like a plane. Ive had it about 2 months.
