Also bought an HDMI cable but shouldn't have bothered as the Samsung came with one.

Sound quality is very impressive, even at very high volume (no distortion). Looks great. Plays every dvd/cd format without any hassle. USB port accepts i-pod.

Gripes? Well only 1 - Track names are not listed on-screen when hooking up the i-pod so you are left to guess what track you've suggested - Maybe I've just made a mess of setting it up? Not sure, will keep playing around with it.

Otherwise, very pleased and would recommend it highly.
